Would you do an activity that required a big drop? (Parachuting, bungee jumping, etc.)
At this moment, I would like to say “I’ll never….”, but let’s just set the record straight – superlatives and I have an on-again, off-again relationship. Superlatives get me in trouble. I have done things I said I would never do, and frankly, I’m better for them. Now that we have that established….

Uhhh, no thank you.

I’ve been told that I would enjoy parasailing. I have been told that parachuting and hang gliding are great fun. I’ve been told that bungee-jumping is quite the rush. Why do people feel the need to jump off of perfectly good cliffs and bridges or out of perfectly good planes?
I have, however, gone zip-lining in St. Kitts, BVI. I had two trusty Prince Valiums in my pocket incase I freaked out and had a panic attack. I squeezed my eyes shut on the practice run AND for part of the first real run. Which was thankfully the longest and highest, so when I finally shook my wits into submission and forced myself to open my eyes and look around – I decided that it was pretty damn awesome.
How about you?
I also have an on and off relationship…except when it comes to heights, jumping & me, then it’s a firm Nevah!
I’ve found that I really can’t be given time to think about something as inevitably that causes me not to do the “something” in question. I’m REALLY good at being impulsive, of course… that gets me into trouble, but it is what it is. I had a lot of time to think about the zip-lining and I there were moments of panic just THINKING about it, but I got through it in the end and it really is a lot of fun. I’m still not sure about parasailing or -chuting, nor sky diving and hang gliding. And bungee jumping just makes me think I’ll snap my spine.
I’m in! In fact there is a place in near Nanaimo on Vancouver Island that you can go nekkie. If you do jump in this state, I believe the jump is free! Also, Kat and I were going to do the edge walk around the outside of the CN Tower. We are saving that for our next trip to Toronto. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IV0J3XXxMxE
LOL Yeah – I could see you doing the neked bungee jump. Just gotta make sure your block and tackle don’t get all mashed up in the rigging 😛 As for the CN Tower…. Ugh. That would have to be a “don’t give me time to think about it” event. I’ve watched those walks around the towers in Asia etc. and it just freaks me out.
