Drink creation: The Apricotabra

You read it here first (I did a search and didn’t find a drink by this name or with these ingredients), and while I may tweak it a little bit*, it’s still pretty tasty and refreshing.

In a shaker with ice, add:

1 – 5.5 oz can of Apricot Juice or Nectar
2 oz of Vodka
1.5 oz of Apricot Brandy
1/2 oz of Triple Sec

Shake vigorously and pour into a chilled cocktail glass.  Garnish with an apricot: dried, fresh or canned.

Then enjoy it!

*If you try out this cocktail recipe and tweak it – let me know how it turned out!

  1. I’ve gotta’ admit I’m a bit relieved you included the recipe for this and didn’t just say, ‘Hey, go order an Apricotabra.’ Because… full disclosure, I’m just not certain I could have pulled that off.
‘Hey, don’t judge me, guy… The Amusing Muse said to try it. Oh, and how much do I owe you for the Appletini?”
    🙂

    • LOL I honestly looked for a recipe using these ingredients but didn’t find any – so made my own. 😉 Of course, slipping the bartender the instructions to make this might raise an eyebrow, but then you can still use the line, “Hey, don’t judge me, guy… The Amusing Muse said to try it.” 😛
