Picture it, my couch, last night… me in my Stewie Griffin pajamas, chatting with my dear friend stationed in “Parts Unknown” in the Middle East.
I hadn’t chatted with them for over a month – which often concerns me knowing what I do about what they does over there in Parts Unknown, Middle East – but I like to think positively. Anyway… they were online and we were chatting about this, that and the other and they asked about my modeling.
I’d not shown off any images to them for a while (understandably since they’ve been incommunicado for weeks at a stretch), so I asked about emailing one, they said sure and I typed in the address, attached the image, put “Pic” as the subject, had no message (they knew it was coming, right?) and clicked send. I went back to the chat window and started to type “It’s on its way….” when I realized I added an extra letter to the email address when I typed it in.
Oops.
My friend had a good laugh, as did I – thankfully it wasn’t what I would call a racy image – and when I didn’t get an auto response of “this email address doesn’t exist”, I had a bigger laugh because now some random person had a message-less email from me with a photo attached.
Imagine my amusement this morning when I opened my email to find that Random Person had responded, “Hi. Love the pic! Where ya from?”
So, Hello, Random Person! (of course I told them about my blog!! Never pass up an opportunity to spread the amusing word) You’re welcome for the photo. I’m glad you enjoyed it and as for the rest of you – the image in question is my avatar here in WordPress.
LOL!
Oh! I think that makes you the 5th (or 4th) person to smile about this!!
You clearly left 2 people with smiles!
Three if you include me! 😉 (four if we include you, too)
I was definitely one. 🙂
LOL! Well hello again. And yes. Yes, you were.
