What is your favorite gift that you received from this Christmas?
I have to say that my favorite gift is my very own camera lens, a “Nifty 50” aka a 50 mm lens. I got smart and asked for it this year. Wouldn’t you know… I got it. Now I get to experiment with using it to take pictures.
That gift was followed closely by a new cookbook, Roots by Diane Morgan. I LOVE eating root vegetables. First of all – they are “in season” right now. Roots seem to hold this near-pariah status in the produce section so they are inexpensive. Roots are also DELICIOUS. I have some parsnips teasing me from the veggie drawer of my refrigerator. They won’t see what’s coming for them.

Actually being home for Christmas to enjoy watching my Son tear open his gifts and the utter joy of simply being with my family.
That truly is a wonderful gift 🙂
Time off is a gift I gave myself. The lovely 24″ monitor from Santa baby works for me too. And one last gift, my grandsons first Christmas. He may not have known what the hell was going on but it was fun to watch.
LOL Kids ARE fun to watch when they rip into their presents… or have someone else do the ripping into for them.
