What is your favorite gift that you received from this Christmas?
I have to say that my favorite gift is my very own camera lens, a “Nifty 50” aka a 50 mm lens. I got smart and asked for it this year. Wouldn’t you know… I got it. Now I get to experiment with using it to take pictures.
That gift was followed closely by a new cookbook, Roots by Diane Morgan. I LOVE eating root vegetables. First of all – they are “in season” right now. Roots seem to hold this near-pariah status in the produce section so they are inexpensive. Roots are also DELICIOUS. I have some parsnips teasing me from the veggie drawer of my refrigerator. They won’t see what’s coming for them.
