06/30/2012 Question of the Day

What book do you wish you had written?  Movie?  Song?

Wow… for my enervated mind this morning this is not an easy question at all.  Maybe if I’d written this yesterday I’d be able to answer it better, but alas, it was not so.  I can’t say that there is any one book, movie or song that springs to mind at this moment though I love and enjoy a great many of them.

For me, personally, music is what I identify with most.  I have a few songs that I listen to over-and-over:

Three of the videos are very artistically rich, “eye candy”, but the songs themselves carry a lot of weight.  Strong people shown at weak moments and dealing with it in their own way, good, bad or otherwise.  “Sympathy for the Devil” well… I love that one for the meaning – who is to say what is good and what is bad.

  1. Lonesome Dove and The Killer Angels.

  2. I have sang and listened to Falling to Pieces so many times, for so many reasons. So, when Scott was leaving the band I thought..it’s ok guys, I got this! I also resonate with music. This is a great post.

    • Scott is the Official UnOfficial dream Boyfriend of a friend of mine… I love how he’s nearly overcome by the music, very animated and just gets in the groove. That abandon can be very intoxicating, but then again… I’m sure he knows that and it isn’t always a good thing.

      Thank you for stopping by!
