Breakin’ the law!

Thank you Judas Priest, for in a moment of clarity this blog title came to me after three glasses of red wine, while eating a bowl of mixed vegetables.  I decided I was still hungry at 9 PM, I nuked a bag of mixed vegetables, dressed some of it with cracked black pepper and red wine vinegar.  I’m nothing if not creative (HA!)… and hungry.

I apologize for lack of posting this week.  It’s been kinda crazy.  My dear friend Jeff has been dealing with a lot of fall out from a modeling/photography situation.  I’ve been dealing with the same situation on a different angle as I moderate a modeling group.   Sad, crazy stuff.

Then there was Job #1.  No, things are still well, just… rocky.  You see, it’s a family company.  When dealing with family – things can get…. rocky.  Here’s the thing… I’m a really nice person… really, just don’t piss me off.  I roll with the punches of life with the best of them.  I tolerate a lot of life’s little foibles.  I don’t tolerate being disrespected.  I also don’t tolerate being repeatedly interrupted.  After a long meeting on Tuesday night, we got things squared away… for now.  I’m just waiting to see how things pan out.

Tonight I had a photo shoot with a very fun and interesting photographer, David Swanson. He holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering, was a Sheriff, then a Forensics Tech, then taught photography to Police and FBI.  I had a great time shooting with him, and I now have another fan of my backside.  One day I’ll have to start a Fan Page for it on FB (if their IPO sale tomorrow doesn’t ruin them!).  David frequently has prints on display at galleries and has pieces permanently displayed at The Kinsey Institute.  Photography is actually his job. Fascinating man and I’m very glad to have gotten the chance to shoot with him.

So what’s up next?  Tomorrow I head to the Frozen Tundra (okay… that’s just a nickname) to see family.  My oldest nephew’s Spring Concert is tomorrow night and my being there is a big surprise.  DH is sticking around the house so the eggs in the incubator can be turned and because he’s working on his projects out in the shop.  I have two shoots planned for this weekend and then will be heading back home.

Right now?  Bed.; though, there is no rest for the wicked.
