05/13/2012 Sunday Search Terms and Project 365: Random Facts 128-134

Happy Sunday Dear Readers!

I hope you’ve had a productive weekend thus far.  DH and I got our greens planted; mache,  arugula, spinach and kale.  We have to go buy more topsoil for the rest of our planting beds as well as PVC piping and nets to keep the Happy Chickens out of the beds.  This weekend also brought the close to the first week of 5K training (again).  HOORAY!  So far, so good.

I’m going to get right down to business, Search Terms this week.  Surprisingly “LOL” is the leader with over 60 people ending up here by using that term.  Are there really that many people who don’t know what “lol” means?  My favorite search term of the weeks goes to: “Why we shouldn’t pollute the air“.  Well, here’s a thought – we breathe air in.  Polluted air does bad things to us.  Bad things are… well, they’re bad, so I think it’d be best if we didn’t pollute the air.

Now, onto the much-anticipated facts…

Random Facts 128-134

Random Fact #128 – My next international trip looks to be hitting England, Sweden and Spain in 2013 if all goes as hoped!  ALL to visit friends and “family” (the kind that become family just because).

So hopefully all goes as planned!  I would really love to see friends I haven’t ever met in person, and some I haven’t seen in over 10 years.

Random Fact #129 – I enjoy fishing though I haven’t gone in years.

I own all the gear but haven’t taken the time to go in probably a good 8 years.  I always had fun fishing when I was allowed to talk and do my thing.

Random Fact #130 – I want to take a safari on the plains of Africa.

I would love to hear the sounds of the night and see the great herds make their annual migration.  I’d love to see the native peoples in their home environment and just take it all in and experiences it.  I might even take a photo or two.

Random Fact #131 – I had planned after high school on joining the Marines to be a sniper.  Bad knees and the need for glasses prevented that.

Yes, you read that correctly.  I wanted to join the Marines and be a sniper.  To be the trigger person.  I would have made a damn fine sniper.

Random Fact #132 – I would like a tarantula as a pet, but other than “being there”… they don’t do much.

Tarantulas are pretty cool, well the fact that I like spiders as a general rule helps them out in the coolness factor.  Sadly, you can’t interact very much with them, and I like to play with my pets.  I wonder if I could teach a tarantula to play fetch?

Random Fact #133 – I find the Snuggle bear creepy… Like Ewwwww-change-the-channel creepy.

Snuggle Bear is right up there with clowns on the creepiness scale.  I don’t find him cuddly at all, and when he giggles it makes my skin crawl and the hair kind of stands up on the back of my head.  I don’t ever want to run into a Snuggle Bear… ever.

Random Fact #134 – When I type “pffft” for anything… I actually make the “pfffft” sound.

Perhaps that falls into the “strange but true” category?  I don’t always laugh out loud when I type “lol”, but when I type “pffft”, I actually make the sound.  Every single time.  Quirky aren’t I?

And we come to a close on this weekends edition!
