Good Morning and Happy Sunday Dear Readers!!

This Sunday’s favorite search term is:  LOL.  That’s it “lol”.  Seems a lot of people out there need to research laughing out loud.  I really am amazed at how many people find my site while looking for “lol” alone or with other attachments, including “lol :)”  Yep… someone found the site with the “lol” and a smiley emoticon.  In a sense, I almost feel sorry for people who don’t know how to laugh out loud.  I find a good laugh out loud very cathartic.  I’m one of those people who when I find something really funny, I have the big belly laugh. You know the kind.  The eyes closed, throw back the head and guffaw.  I feel sorry for those that can’t laugh like that.

Random Facts 121 – 127

Random Fact #121 – I have an unhealthy love of peppermint mochas… even though I get them non-fat and no whip… they still aren’t “healthy”.

Oh the Peppermint Mocha (Non-fat, No-Whip please)… how I love thee.  They are positively addicting.  I’m not a big fan of Peppermint Patty candies either, but I love Peppermint Mochas.

Random Fact #122 – I relish eating capers.

There was an episode of Frasier towards the end of the series where Niles was living on his own and had discovered the warehouse superstore, the equivalent of Sam’s Club or Costco. Niles arrived at Frasier’s apartment declaring that he got Frasier some capers because he had noticed that Frasier was out… and it was a very large jar of capers.  I laughed uproariously.  I “got” it.  That’s how much I love eating capers…. DH is not a fan.

Random Fact #123 – I have never eaten pickled pigs’ feet or pickled eggs.

My brother-in-law, C, has told me that I’d like the spicy pickled eggs that he makes.  I’ve watched Andrew Zimmern on Bizarre Foods eat pickled pigs’ feet…. he hasn’t liked them.  Chances are I won’t either.

Random Fact #124 – I don’t like heart-shaped jewelry.  Never have.  This does not mean I dislike all things “heart”, i just really don’t like heart-shaped jewelry.

I really don’t know where the dislike of heart-shaped jewelry came from.  I just haven’t liked it… ever.  I was once given a necklace that was heart-shaped and it felt fraudulent.  Then DH gave me a locket that was heart-shaped, before he knew of my feelings, and while I still have it, sadly – it lives, unworn, in my jewelry box.  This isn’t to say that all things heart-shaped are scorned.  Non-jewelry items that are heart-shaped seem to have a special place for my affection.  Weird, isn’t it?

Random Fact #125 – I sing in the car.  When I’m alone in the car – I sing Loudly.

Random Fact #126 – I used to bite my nails.

No product out on the market could stop me from biting them off…right down to the quicks.  Soap didn’t work.  Not even keeping them painted helped.  I just eventually grew out of the habit.

Random Fact #127 – I have an ongoing list of things to look up so I can learn about them or just what they are.

My list spans bands and songs to random tidbits like restaurants or books to look up.  Sometimes I hear a word that seems familiar but I just can’t think of its meaning and that word makes the list.  Websites, ideas, you name it… the list is a knowledge-free-for-all.
