I was pleasantly surprised to receive a Versatile Blogger Award from http://darkestangelica.wordpress.com  a very talented lady who writes a blog focusing on and sharing her poetry.  Thank you so much for the award!.

I’d also like to thank the Academy, my wonderful husband, family and friends who have supported me in my endeavors.  Oh my god… I promised myself I wouldn’t cry.  ‘Scuse me a moment.  fans myself and snorks up my nose loudly  Okay.  I’m back.  Thank goodness for waterproof mascara!  Am I right ladies?!  This occasion was a complete surprise to me and I am truly flattered.  But, wouldn’t you know it… when you’re given an award (at least this one) you have to jump through some hoops. It appears there are rules:

1. I crack my knuckles at least once a day.
2. I have never been skydiving.
3. I do not have children.
4. I am a certified Dairy Goat judge for the state of Wisconsin.
5. I was once a disc jockey for a radio station.
6. I was once a roadie for a rock cover band.
7. I like black jelly beans.
