I think my creativity is still a little bit on hiatus.  So, today I will welcome one of the newest WordPress members, my dear friend, DazyLady, over here at This Rollercoaster Called My Life.  And yes, I can call her a “dear friend” because… this one time… at band camp….

Dazy and I were schoolmates and band geeks together, parted by a couple of years.  We’ve worn matching polyester uniforms, stewed in them on hot busses and stripped them off, down to our spandex bicycle shorts and sports bras.  Oh yes!  Band Geeks are SCANDALOUS!

Since I’m the older of the two, I was driving first, and Dazy may recall nights after Pep Band where I’d drive people home.  I think the record was 5 people (myself included) plus their band instruments crammed into the 1983 Chevrolet Chevette that I was allowed to drive.  The Chevette was a sweet car… I think I only had to fill the tank up once every 2-3 weeks.

We lost touch after high school, even though we went to the same college, both working as Disc Jockeys for the college radio station (Ohhhh!  I think I just heard the “COOL Meter” tick upwards!!!).  She found me once more through the “miracle” of Facebook and well… here we are!  Dazy has stories to tell, and since I love stories, like to tell stories, like to listen to stories and seem to attract people who are good story-tellers…. There you are.  And here I am.  There she is!
