At some point over the life of this blog, I asked readers what they would like to know about yours truly. There were a few takers and with good intentions, I wrote these questions down and promptly misplaced them. Thankfully, what was lost has been found! And without further ado, what you asked…
“After a full day of work, cleaning the bar, feeding the kids (I am sure they meant goats), chickens et al, writing, modeling and being an awesome person, what wine do you choose for accompanying roasted peppers and pickled herring?” @BernieHengels via Twitter
Well Bernie, those sound like items one would find on a smorgasbord, and since I’ve been to a few parties thrown by Swedes, I feel confident in saying that the recommendation would not be wine, but snaps.
“What prompted you to start blogging?” @LiveClothesFree via Twitter
This is not a simple question, easy, but not simple. I think I created this blog for a variety of reasons, such as getting my thoughts and writing out in the world and hopefully getting more work modeling. I have accomplished the former, but failed with the latter.
“What’s your favorite ‘oddball’ modeling gig?” @ScottTrautsch via Twitter

I have to say that my favorite ‘oddball’ modeling gigs have been those with the great people at Bare Necessities and N Magazine. In both cases, I got to travel internationally, met a lot of fantastic people who I can still call friends, and my butt made the article lead image in Islands Magazine!
“How did you get into modeling?” @LiveClothesFree via Twitter
The short story is that a friend had started a modeling agency and asked me to audition. I declined. After a few more asks and a few more refusals, I caved. The rest, they say, is history.
“If you could be any stuffed animals, what stuffed animal would you be and why?” @HontouniHeart via Twitter
Hmmm, I’m not sure. I had a big yellow dog that I have since passed along. I also had a custom-made stuffed horse – also passed along. And many other “stuffies” from lemons won at the county fair to teddy bears, which have all been passed along for the most part. I can’t think of a specific style of stuffie which I would be, but it would be something portable, well-loved, and that would be able to be cuddled.
“What is your favorite coffee beverage?” @HontouniHeart
Straight-up, black coffee. BUT! I have been known to enjoy a fancy coffee from time-to-time, and my go-to order (usually) is a medium, peppermint mocha, non-fat, no-whip, and half syrup.
“What is your favorite thing to cook?” @HontouniHeart
Everything! I really enjoy cooking (and baking). Have a rather significant collection of cookbooks, and with the Internet, there is no shortage of new recipes to try. However, I think one of my favorite things to do is to see what is languishing in the fridge, freezer, or cabinets and see what tasty dish I can create. I also have been declaring “challenge ingredients” for myself and our housemate (who also loves being in the kitchen) – which are often some variety of condiment which has been around for a long time, or of which we’ve acquired a large number of bottles.
“What is your favorite animal and why?” @HontouniHeart
I was about to answer that I couldn’t decide, but I had my fascination with sharks come to mind. I think the fact that sharks are incredibly misunderstood and I felt a kinship with that is one of the reasons I enjoy them. They are also incredibly elegant animals and play a crucial role in the world.
“Mr. Muse: What’s it like being an International Man of Mystery?” @HontouniHeart
“Well, it’s tough, it really is. First, you gotta keep up the “International” part. You can’t just step into Canada, once, and be considered International. It’s an ongoing international process. Then, there’s the mystery part and let me tell you – you can’t see out of those masks very well, and the TSA really frowns on them. But sometimes you luck out and you get the hot TSA agent patting you down and then it’s all worthwhile.”
And there you have it. I have finally answered these questions and you get a special bonus question, and answer, for Mr. Muse.
Do you have any more questions?
