Labor Day was spent busying ourselves around the house, and then it was off to the races.  The harness races!  Harness racing was something that was introduced to me at a young age (then again, most horse events were), with the racer ‘Hot Tomato’ living not too far from our home.  There is a thrill to harness racing that I think surpasses even that of horse racing, it’s probably the inherent danger of the carts in addition to people and horses.  Enjoy the photos of the Wisconsin Harness Racing event on Monday at the Iowa County Fair.
